She was alone but definitely on a mission as she walked right past our vehicle at quite a pace. In fact she walked so close to our vehicle that I could have easily reached out to touch her

African Elephant (Loxodonta africana). South Luangwa National Park, Zambia
Vervet Monkey (Chlorocebus pygerythrus). South Luangwa NP, Zambia. We were on a game drive and saw a group of vervet monkeys in some large trees close to the track. This lone monkey sat for some time in the middle of a particularly large tree. Though I'm sure he was able to scamper up into the tree quite easily, he did look as if he was taking his time to build up the courage to attempt the climb.
