Sunshine Coast, BC. Raccoons are omnivorous and will feed on insects, worms, fish, amphibians, fruit, nuts and seeds. They are regular visitors to the cherry trees in our garden!
Early One Morning
Sunshine Coast, BC. This coyote was heading back to her/his den early one morning. To avoid humans many Coyotes are most active at dawn and dusk. This also gives them the best chance of finding rodents, their preferred prey.
Sunshine Coast, BC. This female Rufous Hummingbird looks as if she is sleeping but really she is just blinking. It would be wonderful to see a sleeping hummingbird. And maybe hear little hummingbird snores!
